'One of the biggest problem areas for writers is conveying emotion to the reader in a unique, compelling way. When showing our characters' feelings, we often grab onto the first idea that comes to mind, and our characters end up smiling, shrugging, nodding, and frowning far too much. Need some inspiration to get you beyond the basics? Inside The Emotion Thesaurus, you'll find: 75 emotion entires that list body language, thoughts, and visceral responses for each, a breakdown of the biggest emotion-related writing problems and how to overcome them, body language and action cues that address both acute and suppressed forms of emotion, suggestions for each emotion that cover a range of intensity, from mild to extreme, 75 description tips on emotion, dialogue, characters, and setting.'--

Yes! You can be a Best Selling author... ... even if you've never written a book before. When I say 'clueless', I mean really, really clueless. In November 2017 I decided to write a book, publish it within twelve months, and achieve Best Seller status. At that time, I had never heard of the word Indie, I didn't know what Point of View meant, and I thought KDP sounded like a radio station from the nineties. Like I said - clueless! Less than twelve months later, I released my paperback version of Dying for Justice on Amazon, and my ebook two months later. On the first day of sale, the book reached the Best Seller lists for both paperback and ebook. A few days later the book reached Best Seller in four categories and soared to number one in Hot New Releases for Mystery Series. In this book, I give you the simple twelve steps I used, and am confident if you use the same twelve steps, you can become a Best Selling author too!

This book deals with the results of theoretical and ex perimental studies of the emotions which my colleagues and I carried out over the last two decades. An interest in the psychology of emotions prompted us to undertake an analysis of the creative legacy of K. S. Stanislavsky. A result of this analysis was the book, The Method of K. s. StanisZavsky and the PhysioZogy of Emotions, written in 1955-1956 and published by the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in 1962. I am grateful to the first reader and critic of the manuscript, Leon Abgarovich Orbeli. In 1960, having transferred to the Institute of Higher Nervous Activ ity and Neurophysiology of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, I had the opportunity to conduct experiments on prob lems that had interested me for a long time. In close scien tific association with Peter Mikhailovich Ershov, director and teacher of theater, I began a systematic study of the in voluntary and electrophysiological shifts in actors during voluntary production of various emotional states. Here comparatively quickly we became convinced that the fruitfulness of such studies rests on an absence of any kind of developed, systematic, and sound generaZ theory of the emotions of man and the higher mammals. We will illustrate our difficulties if only with one example. We had frequently read of the so-called 'emotional memory.
